Presently we are using a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Toyota Corolla (one petrol and one diesel) chosen for their easy driving and user-friendly characteristics. We are impressed by their slick gear change, easy to use foot controls (such as a forgiving clutch), and good all-round visibility. Most people can find a good seating position from where they can operate all controls with ease and at the same time enjoy maximum visibility.

Learning to drive in a medium sized car has the advantage of leaving you better prepared for the step up to driving a larger vehicle and yet no difficulty in converting to a smaller one.
